Job Description

We are looking for a strong deep learning expert, who can develop, deploy and maintain state-ot-the-art AI models. You work closely at the intersection of research and product development. You are a key player building a new product from scratch - field testing and iterating quickly. By applying your understanding of classical computer vision and state-of-the-art deep neural networks you are responsible for the performance of ramblr’s models.

Your profile

Passion for solving the hard problems in deep learning
Required:
- Machine Learning (ML): PyTorch or TensorFlow, neural network architectures (especially Transformer / CNNs) training/optimization, model analysis, data loading pipelines
- Computer Vision (CV): CNNs, spatio-temporal data, segmentation, boundary detection, image augmentation
- Full proficiency in python-based collaborative software engineering: follow consistent style-guide, clean design patterns, self-documented code, unit/integration tests, type annotations
- Experience with scientific python libraries such as: numpy, matplotlib, scipy, scikit-learn, scikit-optimize, pandas, seaborn
- General: git VCS, code reviews, development on Linux, distributed computing concepts
Optional:
- Acceleration in python: numba, c++/CUDA extensions, cython, PyTorch c++/CUDA extensions, ONNX, TPUs
- ML: hyperparameter search, (approximate) nearest neighbor search, variational autoencoders, weakly supervised methods, serving/deployment, data monitoring (training/eval/serving-skew), TensorflowTransform, Graphical Models, Bayesian Optimization
- CV: image embeddings, GANs, image morphology, optical flow, depth/3D reconstruction
- General: Cloud Technologies, SQL, Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Ray, data visualization
Education
- B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in computer science, physics or mathematics with focus on computer vision, machine learning or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
