Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Backend & Platform Engineer who takes ownership of building and evolving our core services supporting our products around training and inference.
This role is about designing and implementing high-quality backend systems, shaping architecture through hands-on work, and continuously improving how we build, deploy, and operate software.
You’ll be a key contributor to system design, API quality, data modeling, and engineering processes—working closely with both backend and AI engineers.

Your profile
Qualifications:
- Strong professional experience with Python backend development
- Familiarity with async Python and performance optimization in FastAPI
- Solid expertise in database design and data modeling
- Strong understanding of API design, service boundaries, and system architecture
- Experience with distributed systems or microservices
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks
- Understanding of stateful AI workflows, tool integration, and orchestration patterns
- Experience deploying and scaling LLM/VLM-powered, self-hosted ML models and/or agent-based systems in production, preferable experience with Ray Serve
- Exposure to vector databases or retrieval systems (RAG)
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science or another quantitative science
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluent in English
